Hello

I was always intrigued by a robot moving and always questioned myself, how did that happen? When I was in 4th grade, a friend of mine in school introduced me to FLL and explained what it is. I loved it instantly. So we made our own FLL team, Blazin’ Botz which consisted of 5 members, Anvitha, Arjun, Kavin, Yug and I.

 

Originally, I thought it was going to be easy. I remember I thought, “I just have to code it and it will work. This is going to be easy.” It wasn’t. There were so many variables I hadn’t taken into account including inconsistency. One of the things I hated was the inconsistency in the code. I could never figure out why my code was inconsistent. The code would work 9 times but on the 10th try it wouldn’t work and we had to figure out why. I had to go through numerous trials to make the robot work the way I wanted it to. At one point, I started hating coding. But after that season, I realized that was one of the most unique parts of coding. Now, I love the whole FLL experience. From meeting other teams to the actual competition, FLL was a one of a kind experience. After 3 strong seasons of FLL, I hope that our team will have an amazing experience with FTC like FLL.
