Hello
My name is Arjun Prabhu. I go to Rea Farms STEAM Academy. I was first introduced to FLL through my friends who asked me if I wanted to be part of the team they had created. I always wanted to make my own robot and code it to do stuff. Now I had that chance. I took it.
My Story
I knew that I hated pseudocode in my first FLL season but realized it was needed just like many other things in FLL. I also underestimated the difficulty of several things. For example coding in the 2nd season was extremely difficult because I was just learning python, and since I was in 4th-grade at the time I didn’t understand what strings, tokens, class, functions, etc meant. Sometimes I was disappointed when I couldn’t understand a concept or if the code didn’t work, but soon I realized that all of this was just part of FLL. I am expecting/ predicting FTC to be similar but I am quite sure that I will get quite a lot of surprises on the way!
