Hello
to people reading this. My name is Yug Gokharu. I have always been interested in robotics since I saw a YouTube video about a robot dog dancing at Boston Dynamics. I started FLL in 5th grade, and I enjoyed building things using lego bricks, beams, and gears.
My Story
I was especially fond of building things and testing out new designs for lego robots. But I was really focused on the final result that I couldn’t process how to get there. FLL taught me how to code, think innovatively, and indulge in STEM activities like never before.
I took it to the next step by joining FTC, where the challenge is to build a robot from scratch. It was a big step, but I haven’t even started to build the robot and I’d already learned so many skills like construction of hardware and 3-D designing. But the best part about FTC is enjoying the experience with new friends. I think by indulging in robotics, I have expanded my learning horizon more than ever.
